Using tollways is easier than ever with free-flow tolling in Brisbane. Electronic toll collection, means you travel through the toll road without stopping, while sophisticated cameras and sensors capture an image of your vehicle’s registration plate and assign the correct toll.

PAYING YOUR TOLL
When you travel, your tolls are calculated automatically. You can pay for your tolls by setting up a FLOW account, or by purchasing a FLOWPass.
VEHICLE CATEGORIES
FLOW has four categories of vehicle classification applicable only for the CLEM7 and Go Between Bridge:
| Vehicle Type | Description |
| Motorcycle | Two and three wheeled motor vehicles constructed primarily for the carriage of one or two persons. |
| Car | Defined as any car or Class 2 vehicle that is registered for private use. |
| Light Commercial Vehicle |
Any commercially registered motor vehicle that:
(a) is a two axle rigid truck or load carrying van or utility, having a gross vehicle mass greater than 1.5 tonnes but not exceeding 4.5 tonnes; or (b) has spatial dimensions which are substantially consistent with the axle and mass criteria in paragraph (a) above. |
| Heavy Commercial Vehicle |
Any motor vehicle that:
(a) is a rigid truck with 3 or more axles
(b) is an articulated truck
(c) is a bus
(d) is a two axle rigid truck having a gross vehicle mass greater than 4.5 tonnes
(e) is a motor vehicle with a gross vehicle mass greater than 30 tonnes, or
(f) has spatial dimensions that are substantially consistent with one or more of the criteria in paragraphs (a) to (e), above. |
